February was a productive month at our Sydney photography studio, with a variety of commercial and creative shoots taking place in the space. From ecommerce model shoots and ghost mannequin photography to product shoots and independent creative projects, the studio welcomed photographers, brands, and creative teams working across different types of production. Here’s a look at what happened in the studio throughout February.
Product Photography Shoots
Product photography was another important part of the month. The studio provided a controlled environment for photographing a range of products, from beauty items to small accessories. Product shoots typically focus on clean lighting, accurate colour reproduction, and precise detail, ensuring that the final images work well for ecommerce platforms, marketing materials, and online campaigns. The images below highlight recent product photography created for one of our clients, Camilla and Marc, focusing on detailed product shots produced at the studio last month.

Ghost Mannequin Photography
Ghost mannequin photography remained a key part of the studio’s February production schedule. This technique is commonly used for ecommerce fashion photography, allowing garments to appear structured and three-dimensional without a visible model. Several fashion brands used the studio space to photograph clothing collections using ghost mannequin setups designed for clean and consistent online product presentation.

Ecommerce Model Shoots
In addition to ghost mannequin work, the studio hosted a number of ecommerce model shoots. These sessions focused on creating consistent imagery for online stores, using controlled lighting setups that highlight garments, accessories, and styling details. Ecommerce model photography helps brands present their products in a more relatable way while maintaining a clean and professional visual identity across their website and product listings. The images below showcase our recent work with one of our clients, MJ Bale, from last month, including ecommerce model shoots as well as a selection of product photography created for their online store.

On-Location Photography
Alongside studio work, February also included several on-location photography shoots. Location shoots allow brands to create imagery that feels more contextual and lifestyle-driven, using real environments rather than a controlled studio setup. Working on location often involves a mix of natural light and portable lighting equipment, making it well suited for campaign imagery, brand storytelling, and editorial-style photography. The shoot below was created for Brent Wilson, with imagery inspired by the movie American Psycho.

Creative Studio Shoots
Alongside commercial production work, the studio also welcomed creative shoots from photographers and artists exploring new ideas. These sessions often involve experimental lighting setups, portrait photography, and collaborative projects with models and stylists. Creative shoots are an important part of keeping the studio environment active and inspiring for the wider photography community. While the final images are still in progress, here’s a sneak peek of our behind-the-scenes work from these creative projects.

February brought a mix of commercial production and creative experimentation to the studio. From ghost mannequin photography and ecommerce model shoots to product photography and independent creative projects, it was great to see the space used in so many different ways.
